I have a quiet moment .. love when the house sleeps! We are heading to our local ski spot today and I need to get breakfast going but I just wanted to pop in to say a quick hello.
My daughter made these darling place holders for dinner last night.
We are indulging..still. These cookies are my favorite!
Chocolate cookies ..
.. and doing a little wine tasting!
Hope you are getting to enjoy some quiet, reflective time.
Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year!
xxleslie

You have a beautiful blog! Love the place card holders your daughter made. They remind me of some ornaments I made (using a kit) because of the twine and buttons. Hope you had fun skiing! This time of year is a great time to do that with the family. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog too.
ReplyDeleteSweet Leslie! Thank you for your wonderful comments on my home my dear! I wish I could capture the real beauty of it, however! I just don't know how to handle a camera!
ReplyDeletePlease come to visit me on Jan. 1 so you can see what I have been up to. It is very special!
Now go and enjoy the rest of this year! Anita
Happy New Year wishes to you too, Leslie!
ReplyDeleteHave fun skiing. Wish I was on
the slopes today....
not happening though, without a
long ride to slopes far away since Illinois
is as flat as a pancake!
(That is one of the BIG things
I have missed since moving here.)
Enjoy!
Alison
Happy New Year to you as well, Leslie. Cheers, Mona
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Leslie. I know you all had a grand time skiing. I used to ski when the boys were very young. Everytime we went, I got worse and worse and husband and the boys got better and better. The slopes are so icy here. Finally I just gave up and stayed in the ski house making hot buttered rums and soup for everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures (especially the wine tasting)
