Happy Friday SWEETS! I've been craving sugary treats recently. I love it all .. cookie dough, the frosting right off the top of a cupcake, and fine chocolates with caramel with lots of salt on top! Okay, now that I've disclosed my weakness I hope we can still be friends :)
With Mother's Day, Graduations, and Weddings coming up, I thought you might like this!
How fun are these?! The Rolls Royce of chocolates all dolled up. Just pop the top off and inside you will be treated to an amazing taste sensation!
What a statement by grouping in bunches!
I have inherited a CHOCOLATE CRAVING gene directly from my Mom (there she is buying a boatload of yummies) and you aren't going to believe what's inside some of these sweet treats! We were handed an innocent round ball of chocolate and were told to "bite..and hold in your mouth" for a second. Heehee, so we did and got to laughing a little!
An assortment of vodka, brandy, tequila - shot chocolates! Mmmmm!
As we headed back home, I popped a few one in my mouth and wondered if this was the best snack to enjoy while driving ;)

My mum is a huge choccy lover. She actually ate all the treats entrusted to her as a supporter when my sisters ran a marathon.

ReplyDeleteHa Ha! Shot Chocolates - reminds me of a story.... My Dad had quit drinking (his system was real "clean") but someone had brought a box of liquor filled chocolates to our beach house gathering.
ReplyDeleteWell, we had all been munching on them for a while and Dad (without looking at the packaging) popped one into his mouth and just as quickly "popped" it back out!
AND THEN he pointed at all of us choco-holics accusing us of being drunk saying, "Those have a real kick!"
Cheers!
Hi Leslie,
ReplyDeleteOh Yumm! all the chocolate looks wonderful.
You asked about the book I am reading; Coco Chanel, by Justine Picardie it is a really lovely book with beautiful photos throughout. Well worth the read if you can find it.
I got mine for a Christmas gift.
Happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
oh my Leslie, you had me scared for a moment between your post title and that first pic. :) Surprisingly, I'm not a huge chocolate lover but ones this pretty could definitely persuade me! Have a great weekend!

Oh my goodness, those mini bouquets are too too cute! What a fun little hostess or mother's day gift!
ReplyDeleteI've been on a big fro-yo kick lately. There's a self-serve place 2 minutes from my house, and they have all the toppings you could ever dream of. Highly dangerous. Highly recommended.
Have a wonderful weekend!
We're in the same mindset! I've been craving them too but trying to limit myself. I'm having one last indulgent weekend so I'm going to splurge a bit today :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend! xoxo
Aaaah the flowers look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGirlie, you had me
ReplyDeleteat the salty-caramel
yumminess.....paired
with chocolate, that
is the ultimate, to me!!
My doctor recommends
one ounce of dark chocolate
per day and I try to always
heed her advice!
That looks like one VERY
amazing chocolate shop,
being patronized by two
VERY fun ladies : )
Happy Weekend!

Leslie, you made me miss my mom...She is in Buenos Aires, and she´s so chocoholic that I think she made me prefer white chocolate so she can have all the dark ones...and she can be vicious about it!, jaja!...still she is the best mom of the world...except near chocolate!
ReplyDeleteHave the best Sunday, dear!
Big hugs!

Of course we can still be friends. In fact, I'm thinking about hoping a plane so we can visit this place together! LOVE chocolate... I am completely weak when it comes to any kind. Right now I'm finding Nutella dangerous. You taught birthing classes too? You and I have had so many career changes - it would take us a whole night to list them! xo
ReplyDeleteDearest Leslie,
ReplyDeleteThat looks yummy! But it is adding calories. For me, being diabetic type II I have to be very careful with the sugars so I limit chocolates only to the bitter sweet varieties. Also I do make my own.
Love to you,
Mariette
OMG chocolate and alcohol in one bite? I want to order them right away!! That's brilliant :) We will always love you even though you crave sweets..don't we all??
