..and other phobias
Life in a Bottle.. I can't imagine it.
I get squeamish when I have to be in a crowded elevator and once I had a mild anxiety attack on the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland. The submarine was crowded, it was warm, and we were delayed exiting.. my family still talks about this embarrassing moment!
This weekend was the 2012 Seahawks 12K Run at the Landing, GLOW 5K Run/Walk and Seahawks Play 60 Kid's Run .
This weekend was the 2012 Seahawks 12K Run at the Landing, GLOW 5K Run/Walk and Seahawks Play 60 Kid's Run .
Proceeds for this event went to Benefits Seattle helping at risk children.
While we were there this happened ..
My daughter and her sweet friends
Peer Pressure
And for my fashion friends (haha!) I am wearing a cashmere sweater, vince leggings, leather boots, a suede jacket, and a very sexy Fire Fighter's jacket .. sears. Obviously not the best choice for clothing and those heels were a challenge to work with on the ladder. I told these gentlemen that they needed to consider these things when designing fire trucks (just kidding :)
Up we go!
The Fire Fighters hooked me in so I couldn't lean over to wave - 105 feet up.
"oh! did I mention I have a fear of heights?"

You all look like you're having so much fun! although I don't know who's enjoying it more, the girls or the firemen being surrounded by gorgeous women!! You are sooo brave - no WAY would you get me up that ladder - huge fear of heights - ladders, cliffs but I'm ok if I'm in a building - eg. top of the Eiffel tower was cool! Anyway, looks like you had a ball and for a good cause too!! :)

How exciting. boy you are a brave lady. I would of never guessed that you had a fear of flying.
ReplyDeleteI recognize that Seattle sky – but it's going to be a nice weekend, I think!
ReplyDeleteYes, you're very brave, Leslie. There was a time I would have gone up that ladder without thinking about it but not any more. :)
Wishing you a great weekend and more fun Paris trip planning.

Thank you for visiting and leaving a note on my blog! Cape Cod certainly has something for everyone... the northside (bayside) along Route 6A has many antique shops and B&B's, and is called the "quieter" side of the Cape. The south side of the Cape is BUSY (along Route 28)... it's very family oriented with lots of nighttime attractions (mini golf, clubs, etc).
ReplyDeleteAs for heights... I am SO afraid! There's no way I could have gone up that ladder! You are BRAVE!
You are so brave! That makes my heart jump just looking at the height even though it doesn't typically phase me, lovely outfit and looks like a lot of fun,
