Would you want to know?

A new week!  I hope you are feeling rested and had the opportunity to enjoy some spring sunshine over the weekend.

Friday was movie night at our place and I finally watched the Descendants. It made me think about parenting styles and relationship dynamics. Only after years of marriage do I fully understand how quickly love can wonder and how easy it is to take one for granted and miss things that require my immediate attention. What would I do if my spouse was in a coma and I learned there was an affair? Would I want to meet the person in question? What if close family and friends new of the affair and never told me?

                         My Dancing flowers!!
Tulips are such a happy flower. I always enjoy watching them bend and stretch - dancing to the light.

                                                         Bunny LOVE

This little bunny was made by my MOM when I was pregnant with my son.  He's looking comfy here in my silver compote.

Here's a Beatrix Potter (love this story). Such a style-in BUNNY - flowing, fancy ears, and hot pink lipstick!

This large BUNNY was a gift to me at my BABY SHOWER for my daughter.  The perfect Princess, sitting on my blue/grey chair from the Paris countryside.
.

Here's my sweetest BUNNY of all .. my little girl at her first dance recital!

Not sure what just happened here.. I guess I blinked..

Look at these cute bites! That can't be too bad right? They're just a TINY bite ..and I bought them at a natural foods market ..and I think they're organic!

Jo's Jelly Beans - all natural, no preservatives or artificial colors, etc..  YUM!

\
Let's talk about PEEPS. People either love them or really dislike them. Where do you stand?

If you are a PEEP Person - you must try these ALL NATURAL PEEPS!

So back to the question....

Would you want to know?

                                                                    xx leslie

  2. I'm going to have to watch this film before I answer your question- sounds great! Your daughter is beautiful - I know - time does fly by! All the more reason to live in the moment and enjoy every second! Love Beatrix Potter too, have you seen the film bout her life? I loved it.

  3. I would want to know. That is just me, but yes, I'd want to be told. I believe nothing good can come from keeping something like that a secret even in those circumstances. I still am yet to see The Decendants.

  7. This is obviously a film that raises a lot of questions! I can't answer. I'm all for truth and honesty but I guess some things are better left unsaid or what?!! ;-)

I think the same think happened with me, I blinked and all of a sudden my oldest daughter was 12. I have a theory that the world clock just messed up.

    Enjoy your week ;-)

  10. Not sure what my take on The Descendants was. I think I was looking for a feel-good movie as I have had enough marital issues in my own life. Definitely a movie that makes one think, huh? Your daughter is gorgeous like her Mom.

p.s. I just ordered the personal microdermabrasion device by PMD. Have you heard of it? Is it any good?

  11. Nope, I would never want to know! I told my husband if he ever had an affair to keep it to himself. The only reason to tell is to relieve his mind and mess mine up. So no, I would never want to know.

I do have to say your daugther is stunning! Don't you just love holidays?

    Enjoy your Monday!

  16. I don't know if I'd want to know honestly. But I thought it was an amazing movie. Funny thing, I went into it not knowing she was in a coma. I only knew about the affair so I was totally taken off guard.

And you just have me craving some Easter yumminess. This all looks too good!

Hope your week is off to a great start! :) xoxo

  17. Hi Leslie,

Part of me is saying no and the other, yes, don't know. I do know that we should never take a person for granted and try and make each day a special one.
Your daughter is beautiful and yes, they do grow up too quickly.
I love your tulips, all the sweet bunnies and your fabulous chair from Paris.
All the Easter treats look great.

    Happy week

BUT......now that YOU DO KNOW what joy was germinating in those tender shoots, doesn't it make all the difference in the world?
