Wineries & Weddings

Sunday we visited two wineries in the Woodenville area - the perfect
outing for a cold and rainy day in the state of Washington.

                                            Columbia Winery

Today is a Wedding Show & Tour - flowers, food, candles everywhere!

Citrus and cucumber water - perfect for the bride-to-be

A topiary everywhere I looked!

My daughter is modeling one of the gowns for the show. She said "I can't wait to get married" and I said "you will never!  will look forward to that some day.."  I looked up and she was suddenly gathering the {long} veil and rolling it into a large ball!  "You need help, where's the bride's maid?" I said.  Well.. she was watching off to the right ;)

I helped her straighten things out

Yep!

JM Cellars: Gorgeous venue. I love the soft decor up against the rustic woods.

The tea lights in these little lanterns were so pretty.  Little flowers and greenery everywhere.  Perfect up against the wood table.

The perfect Pacific Northwest picture. The woods in the background, green everywhere,  so romantic.

Indigenous plants - simple and beautiful

Could you get married here?

Lunch at Village Wineries

This little girl was so cute. She was trying to entertain Ginger and Layla by bringing them water and a pink doggy toy. Apparently Ginger looked cold, so she tried covering her with a jacket.

Day trips are a wonderful way to energize yourself during the cold winter months. How do you relax on the weekend?
